Slipping saddle pad?
try buying a nonslip saddle pad to go under the one u are using now. Or you can go to the auto store and get a sithetic shammy for polishing cars, wet it, and put it under your saddle. That is what i use and it works to keep the saddle pad from slipping back. Good Luck!! PS both the shammy and the non slip pad can be cut to fit under your saddle....

pony saddle vs horse saddle?
Not really. The difference is the size. A "youth" saddle is simply a saddle that fits better for a smaller rider. A pony saddle will fit on a horse but less comfortably. It will probably give the horse sores on his withers....
